Hello Total Manager Pro/Free user!
We hope this information will help you to use Total Manager without problems.
To add your local drives use Alt+F1 or
follow steps as on picture below:
Use bottom and top bars or hotkeys to work with your files:
1) Share. You can share the app.
2) Inking. You can draw on the screenshot of workspace and then share created picture.
3) Refresh. Use it after managing your files.
4) Pin. You can pin the app to Start menu.
To select files please use right-click, swipe on it left/right or tap and hold according to your device (selected files switch red).
To open file use left-click:
5) Unpack files. Use it to extract files from archive.
1. Select archive you want to unpack. 2. Browse output directory. 3. Unpacked folder.
6) Pack files. Use it to zip selected folder.
1. Choose the folder you want to pack. 2. Press "Pack files" 3. Browse output directory, set archive`s name and format.
7) Search for. Use it for searching files.
1. Press button “Search”. 2. Write file`s name or key words. 3.Browse directory for searching. 4.Press “Start search”.
8) More. Here you can find:
- Settings(choose the language and turn on/off “Windows Hello”).
- Shortcuts(or hotkeys, used for managing files and folders).
Also in "More" there are 'Commands of Cortana' and 'About'.
You can do various file commands like copy, move, delete, view, new folder, etc.
To copy files from one drive to another you need:
1. Select files;
2. Select output directory;
3. Press F5(most common hotkeys are displayed on bottom bar).
The same way you can do another actions with files such as move, delete.
For example if you want to delete all files in some folder you need:
1. Select the folder;
2. F4 "Select all";
3. F8 "Delete";
4. Delete selected items.
Also you can sort your files by name, size or date.
Also App has Drag&drop option. It allows you to copy or move files and folders.
